Why isn't my gift loading?

Gifts usually load within a few seconds on HuntedGift. If you're seeing blank spaces, spinning loaders, or a "No gifts found" message, it's typically a temporary network issue or filtering problem.

Quick fixes

Try these steps in order:

  1. Refresh the page — Most loading issues clear after a simple refresh. Click the refresh button in your browser or pull down on mobile.

  2. Clear your filters — If you've applied price ranges, categories, or other filters, you might have filtered out all results. Look for a "Clear Filters" button and reset your search.

  3. Check your internet connection — HuntedGift needs a stable connection to load gift data. Switch between WiFi and mobile data, or try a different network.

  4. Try a different browser — If you're on a desktop, test in an incognito window or a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) to rule out cache or extension issues.

Still not loading?

If gifts won't appear after trying the steps above:

  • Wait 5-10 minutes — Temporary server issues usually resolve quickly. HuntedGift caches gift data for performance, so a brief delay can help.

  • Sign out and back in — If you're logged in, try signing out at app.huntedgift.com and signing back in.

  • Check for maintenance — Occasionally, HuntedGift performs updates. If the entire app is slow or unresponsive, check back in 15-30 minutes.

If you see an error message with a "Report this issue" button, click it to send diagnostic details to the support team automatically.

Common scenarios

Blank gift cards with a 🎁 icon — This means the gift image failed to load. The gift data is there, but the image link is broken. Refresh the page to retry loading images.

"Finding prices..." stuck on screen — This happens when HuntedGift's AI is searching external stores (eBay, Etsy for Elite users). If it takes longer than 30 seconds, refresh and try your search again.

"No gift ideas found" after a search — You haven't exceeded your search limit; HuntedGift just couldn't find matches for your description. Try broadening your recipient details (remove very niche interests or adjust the budget).

Viewing and browsing gifts doesn't count against your daily search limit. Only generating new AI recommendations uses your searches.

When to contact support

Reach out to support if:

  • Gifts won't load for more than 1 hour

  • You see repeated error messages

  • Only specific gift lists or pages fail to load

  • The issue happens across multiple devices and networks
