Yes—you can save individual gift results to personal lists (wish lists or collections) from your search results. Your saved gifts sync across all your devices and can be organized, shared, or kept private.
Saving gifts is available on all plans—Free, Pro, and Elite. There's no limit to how many lists you can create or how many gifts you can save.
Saving Gifts to a List
Browse your gift results on the Ideas or Chat page
Click the heart icon on any gift card you want to save
In the "Save to List" popup, choose an existing list (like "Birthday Gifts" or "All Saved") or click New List
If creating a new list, enter a name and optional description, then click Save
You'll see a confirmation: "Saved 'Gift Title' to your list!"
Your saved gifts appear immediately in your lists and sync across mobile and web.
You can only save individual gifts—not entire search results sets. If you want to save multiple gifts, click the heart icon on each one.
Viewing Your Saved Lists
Access your saved lists in two ways:
Click Lists in the sidebar menu to see all your lists
Go to Profile and scroll to your public lists section
The Lists page shows each collection with a preview image, gift count, and visibility status (Private, Friends, or Public).
Organizing and Editing Lists
From the Lists page, you can:
Create new lists: Click the "New List" button at the top
Sort your lists: By recent, name, or number of items
Filter by visibility: Show only private, friends-only, or public lists
Rename a list: Click the edit icon on any list card
Change visibility: Set who can see your list (Private, Friends, Public)
Upload a banner: Add a custom header image (max 10MB)
Link to an event: Add a countdown timer for birthdays or holidays
Delete a list: Click the trash icon—you'll need to confirm before it's removed permanently
To manage individual gifts in a list, open that list and click the three-dot menu on any gift card to remove it.
Deleting a list removes all saved gifts from that collection permanently. This can't be undone.
Sharing Your Lists
You can share any list with friends or family for group gifting:
Open the list you want to share
Click Share
Make sure visibility is set to Friends or Public (private lists can't be shared)
Click Get Link to copy the shareable URL
Send the link to anyone—they can view your collection and save gifts to their own lists
People who receive your link see a "Shared Collection" view with all your saved gifts. They don't need a HuntedGift account to view, but they'll need to sign in to save items to their own lists.
Use the Friends visibility setting if you want to share with specific people. Public lists appear on your profile page for anyone to see.
Troubleshooting
"Please sign in to save gifts": You need a HuntedGift account to save items. Create one at app.huntedgift.com/signup—it's free.
"Already in your collection": You've already saved this gift to that list. It won't create duplicates.
"Failed to save": Check your internet connection and try again. If it keeps failing, refresh the page.
Can't upload banner image: Make sure your image is under 10MB. Try a smaller file size or different format (JPEG or PNG work best).
