How purchasing works
HuntedGift acts as a recommendation engine, not a store. Here's the flow:
You describe the gift recipient and get AI-powered recommendations
Browse curated gifts with prices from Amazon, Etsy, Target, Walmart, Sephora, and other retailers
Click "Buy Now" or the retailer button on any gift
A new tab opens to the retailer's product page
Complete checkout directly with the retailer
Elite plan users get multi-store search results including eBay and Etsy for broader options.
All pricing shown in HuntedGift is dynamically fetched from retailers, but prices may change. Always verify the final price on the retailer's site before purchasing.
Who handles the purchase?
The external retailer handles everything after you click through:
Payment processing: You pay the retailer directly (Amazon, Etsy, etc.)
Shipping: The retailer ships the item using their policies and timelines
Returns and refunds: Contact the retailer's customer service for any issues
Order tracking: Use the retailer's tracking system
If you see a charge from Amazon, Target, or another store on your statement, that's expected. HuntedGift never charges you for products.
The only charges you'll see from HuntedGift are subscription fees (Pro or Elite plans). Gift purchases always go through the external retailer.
Sending gifts to someone else
HuntedGift doesn't ship gifts for you, but most retailers offer direct shipping options:
Click the gift link to open the retailer's product page
Add to cart and proceed to checkout
Enter the recipient's shipping address instead of your own
Many retailers offer gift wrapping, gift messages, or "mark as gift" options
Alternatively, save gifts to a list and share the list with others for group gifting or to let the recipient choose.
Returns and refunds
Because HuntedGift doesn't sell products, we can't process returns or refunds for gifts you purchase. Contact the retailer directly:
Check the retailer's return policy (usually 30-90 days)
Initiate returns through the retailer's website or customer service
Follow their specific return shipping instructions
Keep your order confirmation email from the retailer. You'll need it for returns, exchanges, or tracking.
Each retailer has different policies for returns, exchanges, and refunds. Amazon, Target, and Walmart typically offer easy returns, while Etsy policies vary by seller.

HuntedGift earns a small commission when you purchase through our links. This helps us keep the service running and offer a free tier with daily gift searches.
Affiliate links don't change your price. You pay the same amount whether you find the product through HuntedGift or directly on the retailer's site.
We partner with retailers to surface real, user-loved gifts instead of generic lists. Our AI focuses on quality recommendations, not pushing the highest commission products.

Can I save gifts without buying immediately? Yes. Click the heart icon to save gifts to your lists. You can return to purchase later or share the list with others.
What if a gift is out of stock? Inventory updates in real-time on the retailer's site. If a recommended gift is unavailable, generate a new search or browse your saved lists for alternatives.
Do I need an account with the retailer? Most retailers allow guest checkout, but creating an account helps with order tracking, returns, and faster future purchases.
Can I price compare across stores? Elite users see multi-store options automatically. Free and Pro users can manually search the same product on different retailer sites.
