Sharp objects (knives, tools, scissors)
Age-restricted items (alcohol, tobacco products)
Fragile or breakable items
Products with small parts or choking hazards
Items requiring adult supervision
The system doesn't automatically filter out these categories. Whether an item appears depends on how well it matches your description, not on safety screening.
Safety checks and filters
Currently, Hunted Gift doesn't perform product safety checks before showing recommendations. There are no filters for:
Dangerous or restricted products
Recalled items
Counterfeit goods
Age-inappropriate items based on recipient age
Products are sourced from retailers, and the platform relies on those retailers to maintain accurate product information. If a retailer discontinues an item or a link breaks, the product will eventually disappear from recommendations, but this isn't connected to safety concerns.
