Sometimes product links don't work as expected, or the product you see changes between Hunted Gift and the retailer's site. Here's why this happens and what it means.
The product link doesn't work
Product links can break when a retailer removes or discontinues an item. We pull gift ideas from thousands of retailers, and their inventory changes constantly. If a link doesn't work, the product is likely no longer available from that seller.
Try searching for the product name on the retailer's site—they may have restocked it or have a similar version.
The price is different than what Hunted Gift showed
Prices change frequently. Retailers update pricing based on demand, sales, inventory levels, and promotions. The price you see on Hunted Gift reflects what was available when we last checked, but the retailer's current price may be different.
We don't control retailer pricing, and prices can change between the time you view a gift and when you click through to purchase.
The product is out of stock
Inventory moves fast, especially for popular items. A product can be in stock when we show it to you and sell out minutes later. This is particularly common during holidays, sales events, or for limited-edition items.
Some retailers offer waitlist or restock notification options on their product pages.
The gift I clicked isn't available
If you click a gift and it's no longer available, the retailer has either removed it from their catalog or it's temporarily unavailable. This can happen when:
The product is discontinued
The retailer is updating their inventory system
The item is seasonal and out of season
Stock sold out and won't be replenished
Why some gifts disappear
We regularly remove gifts that are no longer available. When retailers discontinue products or links break permanently, we clean them from our database to keep recommendations current and useful.
If a gift disappears from your saved items or search results, it means the product is no longer available from that retailer.
We're constantly adding new gift ideas, so if something disappears, there's likely an even better option available now.
