Having trouble with slow loading, frozen pages, or unresponsive features? This guide covers common site and performance issues and how to resolve them.

The AI is Not Responding

If the AI feature isn't generating responses or appears stuck:

  1. Wait 30-60 seconds — The AI may be processing your request, especially for complex queries.

  2. Refresh the page — Click the refresh button in your browser or press Ctrl+R (Windows) or Cmd+R (Mac).

  3. Check your internet connection — A weak or interrupted connection can prevent AI responses from loading.

  4. Try a different browser — Switch to Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge to rule out browser-specific issues.

  5. Clear your browser cache — Cached data can sometimes interfere with new features. Clear your cache and reload the page.

If you're on a mobile device, try switching between Wi-Fi and cellular data to see if network quality is the issue.

The Site is Slow

Experiencing slow page loads or laggy interactions?

  • Check the status page — Visit status.huntedgift.com to see if we're experiencing service disruptions.

  • Test your internet speed — Use a speed test tool to confirm your connection is working properly.

  • Close unnecessary tabs — Too many open browser tabs can slow down performance.

  • Disable browser extensions — Ad blockers or security extensions can sometimes interfere with site performance. Try disabling them temporarily.

  • Try incognito/private mode — This disables extensions and uses a clean cache, which can help identify the issue.

The Page Won't Load

If you see a blank screen, error message, or infinite loading spinner:

  1. Hard refresh the page — Press Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) to force reload without using cached data.

  2. Check the URL — Make sure you're using the correct web address and there are no typos.

  3. Try a different device — If the page loads on your phone but not your computer, the issue may be device-specific.

  4. Disable VPN or proxy — Some VPNs or network proxies can interfere with loading. Try disconnecting temporarily.

If you see a specific error code (like 404, 500, or 503), note it down and contact support with that information.

The Chat Froze

If the chat interface becomes unresponsive or messages won't send:

Something Looks Broken

  • Zoom level — Make sure your browser zoom is set to 100%. Press Ctrl+0 (Windows) or Cmd+0 (Mac) to reset.

  • Update your browser — We support the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Older versions may display content incorrectly.

  • Disable custom themes or extensions — Dark mode extensions or custom CSS can conflict with site styling.

  • Take a screenshot — Capture what you're seeing and send it to our support team so we can investigate.
